Five platforms. One API.
Multicast is the unified social media API provider. Integrate before your morning standup. Scale to thousands of accounts.
Supported platforms
One API for every social platform.
Uniform requests, responses, and webhooks across X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more. Integrate once instead of building and maintaining a separate integration per network.
Your integration doesn't break.
Platforms deprecate endpoints, shift rate limits, and change media rules constantly. Multicast absorbs every change behind a stable API, so what you shipped keeps working — with no maintenance on your side.
The hard parts are already built.
Scheduling (even where the platform doesn't support it natively), retries, idempotency, rate-limit handling, and uniform webhooks for every outcome. The infrastructure you'd otherwise run yourself, included by default.
From zero to posting in three steps.
- 1
Connect accounts
Your users authorise through Multicast's hosted OAuth. No developer apps to register, no platform dashboards, no review queues — for any platform, including X.
- 2
Make one call
Publish, schedule, or pull analytics with a single request to a single API.
- 3
We handle the rest
Scheduling, retries, idempotency, rate limits, and uniform webhooks for every result — success or failure.
// 1 · Connect — hosted OAuth, zero developer apps
const link = await mc.accounts.connect("tiktok");
// 2 · One call publishes to every platform
await mc.posts.create({
accounts: ["x", "instagram", "tiktok"],
content: "Shipping something new today",
});
// 3 · We handle delivery, then webhook every result
→ post.published { account, id, url }
→ post.failed { account, error } Everything you need, and more.
We’ve done the heavy lifting, so you can ship fast, without the maintenance multiplier every platform brings.
Hosted OAuth
Multicast hosts the OAuth flow for you. No dev apps, or platform approvals.
Rate-limit orchestration
We track every platform’s limits per account and queue inside them. Platform 429s become our problem, not yours.
Retries & idempotency
Transient platform failures retry with exponential backoff. Idempotency keys make double-posts impossible.
Media pipeline
Upload once. We transcode, resize, and validate to each platform’s spec automatically.
Publishing
Create, update, and delete posts across every connected account with one request.
Scheduling
Queue content for any time, any timezone. Change your mind up to the minute it ships.
Webhooks
Delivery confirmations, failures, and engagement events, pushed to your endpoint in one consistent format.
Engagement
Read and reply to comments across platforms through one model
Analytics
Impressions, engagement, and audience metrics, normalized across platforms.
You could build this yourself.
It's weeks of work per platform — OAuth, posting, scheduling, edge cases — then ongoing maintenance forever, for something that isn't your product. Multicast is that work, already done and kept current as the platforms change.
Spend your time on what makes your product yours.
- Weeks per platform on OAuth, posting, and scheduling
- Every edge case, found in production
- Maintained forever — for something that isn't your product
- Every breaking change lands on your roadmap
- One integration, live this afternoon
- Edge cases already handled behind the interface
- We keep it working while platforms shift underneath
- Breaking changes are our problem, not yours
Common questions.
What happens when a platform changes its API?
Nothing, on your side. Absorbing platform churn is the product. When a platform ships a breaking change, we migrate behind the interface — your integration doesn't move.
What if a platform changes its pricing or access terms?
We pass material changes through transparently, with advance notice — never buried in an invoice. And you're never trapped: plans are month-to-month and your data exports in full. We can't control what platforms do. We can control how honestly we handle it.
What about X, specifically?
X runs the most volatile API program in the industry, and we treat it accordingly: conservative architecture, compliant access, and immediate communication if terms shift. And if the worst happens on any single platform, the rest keep posting — that's the point of one abstraction over five dependencies.
Do I need my own developer apps or platform approvals?
No. Accounts connect through Multicast's hosted OAuth. No developer applications, no review queues, no API keys to manage per platform.
Will this put my accounts at risk?
No. Multicast works through each platform's official APIs and approved access programs — no scraping, no reverse-engineered endpoints, no automation outside platform terms. Hosted OAuth is the mechanism the platforms built for exactly this.
Which platforms are supported?
X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook at launch. More are on the roadmap — tell us what you need next.
How do rate limits work?
We track each platform's limits per account and queue your requests inside them, so platform 429s are our problem. Your requests to Multicast have generous limits of their own, documented in full.
Is there a sandbox?
Yes. The full API runs against simulated accounts, so you can build and test the entire integration before connecting a real one. Sandbox usage is free and unlimited.
Coming from another unified social API?
The concepts map almost one-to-one, and most migrations fit in a weekend. Talk to us — we'll help you move.
